NaPoWriMo 2017 Haiku 575 - Day Eighteen

No haiku yesterday, just a few today. Been a busy bee, of course.

galloping white foam

nudging further up the beach

icing on a cake

wrinkles in the sand

aged woman stoops to save

floating plastic spade

turquoise tinged with brown

crashing waves churn up the sand

dregs of miso soup

writing in the sand

messages no-one will read

and yet, still pausing
