So after not having blogged for months, I now have two posts in two days because I've received some more good news.
These came through the post today - the first three books I've written for the Egyptian publishing house Prime Press. They hire me to retell classic stories for children who speak English as a second language (so within the CEFR Framework, usually A1 - B2). I've got another two books currently in production, and am busy writing the 6th one this week. Exciting times! As a hired freelancer you don't always get to see your name on the cover or have a biography included, so this really is the cherry on the cake. I'm thrilled!
